First Basic Inspection (Eerste Bijzondere Inspectie)
FBI (EBI)
An FBI is carried out when a new installation is delivered, or when an inspection has never taken place before. As the owner of a combustion plant in The Netherlands, you are legally obliged to have an FBI carried out.
We investigate, inspect and conclude whether the installation meets the legal standards and requirements, such as safety and environmental aspects, whereby all deviations from the standard are reported to the customer for the purpose of complying with the standards set by the appointed authority (Environmental Service). A 'Basic Report' is then drawn up. The basic report contains the standards and settings that apply to the installation in question.
